Besides academic pursuits, the university encourages the students to achieve all round personality development. The university is committed to produce not only competent professionals in their areas of activities but also impart good human values to them. To achieve this objective, the university makes specials and concerted efforts to provide opportunities to the students to give expressions also to their non-academic talents. The University organized the first state level inter-university youth festival in the year 2002.The University celebrates “Guru Ghasidas Jayanti as Kul Utsav” every year on 18th December. Events like classical vocal, dance, folk dance, group songs, quiz, elocutions, debate, drama, painting and creative writing are organized the occasion of kul Utsav also.
