 RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

   1.   A Research Project on “Socio-Cultural and Environmental Dimension of Baiga Health”, 

          Sponsored by Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology.

   2.   A chair awarded to the department by the Ministry of Human Resource department.

   3.   A Full bright scholar was invited.

 Seminar organized during last year :

    1.   A National Seminar on Women Empowerment.

    2.   A Regional Seminar on Inter Section of Religious and Social Upliftment of Horizons in

          Central India.

    3.  A special talk on Tribal Situation in Chhattisgarh delivered by Dr. B. D. Sharma.

 Student’s Major Achievements :

    1.   Three students qualified the UGC-NET Exam in the last year.

    2.   One student has been selected as a University Lecturer.

    3.   One student selected as a Project Fellow.

    4.   Another student has got a good position in UTI Bank.

    5.   One student has been selected as a SRF, Anthropological Survey of India.

    6.   Rajeev Gandhi Fellowship was awarded to one student
