2.Inaguration Talk by Prof. A.K. Dixit
Today
in the Department of Botany, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur C.G. has
been inaugurated Vanaspatik Chetna Program in the presence of all respected
faculty members and PhD scholars of the Department. The main aim of this
program is to sow the seed of new thoughts, concepts regarding botany and
development of conscious personality within us. At the beginning of today’s
inaugural ceremony, a very beautiful speech given by Prof. A.K. Dixit Sir, in
which he praised all the scholars about the name of our new initiative
Vanspatik Chetna and defined this name very beautifully. Along with this
respected sir made us aware of the incidents that happened during his
ethnobotanical survey and gave scientific reason for the ecological
relationship between humans and herbs. He told all the students about his
research experience and wishes good luck to us with his encouraging words.
