About the Program:
The B.A. in Performing Arts offered by Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya under the Apprenticeship-Based Degree Programme (ABDP) is a pioneering four-year undergraduate course that seamlessly integrates academic learning with professional training in Theatre, Dance, and Music. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the programme is designed to foster both artistic expression and career readiness.

The curriculum is rooted in a rich blend of classical, folk, and contemporary performance traditions, with modules on acting, choreography, vocal techniques, dramaturgy, stagecraft, movement studies, and cultural aesthetics. The academic journey culminates in a two-semester apprenticeship, where students gain immersive experience with leading cultural institutions, production houses, and performance collectives.

● Mentorship from Masters: Learn under the guidance of eminent artists and practitioners from prestigious institutions such as the National School of Drama (NSD), Film and Television Institute of India (FTII Pune), Bhartendu Natya Akademi (BNA), and the Indian film and media industry.
